WISCONSIN DUAL

The #4 Stanford Lightweight Women had a strong showing v. #6 Wisconsin. The race was delayed by a day due to delayed flights from Wisconsin. The racing was still strong, though. The Stanford 1V8 had a very solid showing, beating Wisconsin by more than 15 seconds. However, in the 1V4 and 2V4, Wisconsin emerged victorious. While not a sweep, we mentioned last week that the team is still in rebuilding mode, with a lot of underclassmen athletes, so the outcome is still very encouraging overall. Remember that outside of the NCAA, where champions are crowned for overall team points, the IRA is all about the 1V8 result, for both the Men and the Lightweight Women. On that front, the future and even this season look bright.
